Program structure
The ASTP Master’s program is organized into three interconnected thematic blocks, designed to build both your technical and professional profile step by step:
- 1st semester: Focus on advanced automotive technologies and intercultural communication
- 2nd semester: Emphasis on management, leadership, and quality assurance
- 3rd semester: Specialization in vehicle communication systems and a hands-on industry internship, during which you’ll also complete your Master’s thesis
Your internship and thesis are completed in cooperation with national or international companies in the automotive sector — ensuring real-world relevance and valuable industry experience.
To help you start strong, the program begins with a team-building event. Through shared cultural presentations, you’ll build connections, intercultural awareness, and a strong group dynamic from day one.
Free German course: ASTP students can join a free German language course from the first semester — perfect for daily life, internships, and preparing for your Master’s thesis.

Admission Requirements
- Completed undergraduate studies in engineering (from a university or university of applied sciences), comprising at least 7 semesters / 210 ECTS credits
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field
- Good command of English (language of instruction)
- German language skills at A2 level at the time of application
- German language skills at B1 level before starting the internship (during or after the 3rd semester)
- A minimum of one year of practical experience in a technical field
